Guide to payment by PayPal
Although we have already had successful payments from the US via the online PayPal route I know from your emails that you have hit some problems. We will try to sort these out with you individually but in the meantime the following guide to what should happen may be of help.
1. Select the ‘Join in!’ tab at the top of the IPE 2009 mini-site page, or click here.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page where it says ‘IPE 2009 – PAY ONLINE’.
3. Fill in the Contact Name and Contact Email fields.
Note: This is not your PayPal login details - that comes later on. This section is for the IPE 2009 Team’s records and should be the information you supply on your Submission Form.
4. Select the applicable field from the dropdown menu. This will depend on where you are in the world and will calculate your total fee (Administration + plus Postage) for you.
5. Click ‘Pay Now’ button. The PayPal page will now load in the same window.
6. It should now ask you to log in using your PayPal account details.
7. Confirm that all the information displayed is correct. If you would like to include a message with your payment, please click on the blue ‘Your Message (optional):’ link underneath the Item Description.
8. To confirm payment, click the ‘Pay Now’ button. PayPal will take you to a page letting you know that the payment was successful.
9. You will now receive a PayPal receipt which you can print out if you require (it will also be sent to your PayPal email).
10. Please await confirmation from the IPE 2009 team to the email that you provided in step 3.
